Job Duties

Provide application software development services or technical support. Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Analyze, design, develop, code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications. Analyze requirements and maintain, test, and integrate application components. Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented.

Create, modify, and test the code, forms, and scripts that allow computer applications to run. Work from specifications drawn up by software developers or other individuals. Develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. Develop secure, scalable, and robust programs to interface multiple systems across various platforms.

Participate in code review sessions and application unit testing to help deliver high-quality code. Prepare complex technical design specifications for program development.

Minimum Education and Experience

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field and one year of related work experience.
